D.W. Wilburn served as general contractor for this new replacement facility for the Glasgow State Nursing Facility in Glasgow, Kentucky.

This brand new 100-bed facility replaced an aging and structurally failing facility. It is located directly in front of the existing facility on a 27-acre site in Glasgow, Kentucky and is built to LEED certification standards. The project includes a 72,000 sf, one-story facility on a partial basement for mechanical and service functions. Features include central areas for dining and socializing, extensive windows for daylighting, a central enclosed courtyard, and modern open living spaces with private and semi-private rooms.

Glasgow State Nursing Facility is a licensed, state-owned and operated long-term care center for individuals with mental illness who need both mental health treatment and skilled nursing services. Patients arrive by referral from other psychiatric facilities and hospitals.
